Your Ultimate Guide To DIY Facials at Home!
We wanted to make it as simple and straight forward as possible to upkeep your skins' happiness, from the comfort of your own home.
With the current COVID-19 situation going on, we have put together a range of DIY facial kits for while you are in isolation. Stay tuned for more!
We knew we had to share the love and the how-to, so you can treat yourself to a deluxe facial treatment, or continue with your skin treatment plan, even though you can't pop in to see us! (Which makes us very sad, by the way!)
DMK’s AT HOME ENZYME KIT (aka at home enzyme therapy) is the best at-home skin system I have worked with to date – We have just released this on our product options online. When you combine this with a few other products, it will allow you to experience the main actions and benefits that a professional skin treatment achieves – deep cleanse, exfoliation, lymphatic drainage and masque.
The best bit? The kit is specifically designed to be simply with no fuss, so that you can relax and enjoy its benefits!
Follow these steps once a week and you will be right on your way to clear, smooth and super bright skin.
Step 1 – Cleanse
Apply a pea size of your Cleanser and mix with water. Massage into the face for 30 seconds before rinsing with warm water. Then apply a 20-cent piece amount of Epitoxyl to a cotton pad and wipe over the skin in a toner like movement. Leave on for 3 minutes and rinse off with warm water. This is a
supreme tissue detoxifier and effectively draws all the toxins out of the skin. The skin looks instantly brighter.
Step 2 – Exfoliate
Apply a 10-cent piece amount of Micro Peel to the skin and leave on for 5 minutes. The skin will tingle on the application when you first begin to use Micro Peel as it is a very active and effective exfoliant. After 5 minutes, blot off the excess with a tissue.
Step 3 – Masque
It’s time to apply your at-home Enzyme Masque! In the Mixing Bowl provided, combine 2 teaspoons of Foamy Lift with 2 teaspoons of Exoderma and stir to a foamy consistency. Apply in upwards motions with the Fan Brush provided, starting at the base of the neck up over the face and over the forehead. After a minute you may experience some warmth and redness as the circulation and lymphatic drainage begins. Please don’t be concerned as it will also dissipate within minutes. Leave on for 30 minutes before jumping into the shower to rinse off (after trialling all different ways to remove the masque, this is simply the easiest way to get it off).
Step 4 – Moisturise
The final step in your at-home skin treatment is to apply your normal moisturising routine, including drops, serums, oils and cremes. And voila – you have completed your own at-home skin treatment!
